My Grandma's 80th Birthday, Surprise Party!

My Grandma's 80th Birthday was February 18th. Here is a picture of her only a few months old and one of her now, what a pretty lady.Here is a copy of the announcement in the Richfield Reaper.On Valentines we celebrated my Grandma Anderson's 80th birthday. My Grandma knew that we were having a open house for her, but she didn't know that we planned a surprise family party and luncheon for her. We kept this a secret for months.

We had it at Frontier Village and it turned out wonderful. My dad and mom had talked my Grandma into going to lunch if a few of us before her open house, well little did she know that 70 people is what they meant by a few. As soon as she and my parents walked in the front door we all started singing HAPPY BIRTHDAY, my grandma was quite shocked.

We had a great dinner. We watched a video of a bunch of family photos. We also played a game about who knew Grandma the best. We all had a great time at the party. Grandma was very surprised and very happy. Thanks everyone for the great celebration!
