Ice Fishing!

On Saturday I went ice fishing with Jade and some of his family. I have been ice fishing lots of times, but this was my first time this season. We went fishing at Fish Lake, my all time favorite place. There were lots of people there. Jade and his dad went the first couple of weekends in January and caught their limit, within two hours, every time they went out. Well guess what, we didn't have one stinking bite. So of course, I am now considered the bad luck fisherman. Jade's niece and nephew went with us and they had a blast. They each had their fishing pole and their own little fishing spot all set up. Hadlee was a little, okay a lot, worried with the popping of the ice. She finally realized that she wasn't going to fall through and that we wouldn't take her out there if it wasn't safe. Zander just keep saying to everyone, "catch me a fish."

We all had lots of fun sledding around the ice and snow. We even had a slush throwing fight. So, despite the fact that we didn't catch anything, we all had a blast.
